Relaxing music with somewhat melancholic undertones, songs by Rumpistol are perfect for rainy days and late nights. I find Rumpistol’s music, especially today’s album “Mere Rum” to be absolutely fascinating. Sometimes it feels as though each subtle click and pop was meticulously hand placed; a truly refreshing feeling in this modern world of electronic grid music. His songs evoke emotion, rolling and flowing like the current of a river. Rumpistol is one of those artists that has mastery of both complex sound design and extremely simple, refined soundscapes.
