Ambient music will always play a huge role in my life. Often a soundtrack to rainy days, blissful moments, and long journeys, ambient music frequently serves as the foundation of my mood, undulating and flowing through my body and mind. Loscil is a master of the genre and continues to make stellar music to this day with his most recent album ‘Monument Builders.’ Every one of his albums is worth checking out, but for today’s selection I chose the album I first heard from this amazing musician: ‘Submers.’ Whether I’m looking to clear my mind and drift away or embark on a thoughtful, inward journey, there will likely be a Loscil album playing in the background.
